With an interest in both architecture and mental health, I chose to study psychology at UNIFOR and direct my practice to the school area.

At the time I couldn't find a clinical approach that mobilized me, but I trained in gestalt therapy and psychodrama, as well as art therapy to unleash my artistic abilities. My TCC for the psychology course was about the importance of the family in school adaptation. Once I graduated, I went to work in schools where I enjoyed serving families.

It was during the Family Group Psychotherapy course, in the psychology course, that I discovered an approach that made perfect sense to me and a new way of looking at the world opened up.

I wanted so much to do training in this area that I ended up convincing my teacher, Christina, to organize training in family and couples therapy, today's specialization. Since then I have embraced this approach, with working with children and adolescents in the context of family therapy as my main area of interest.

I am currently developing an innovative project, Fora da Caixa, with children and their families. In 2016, I participated in the founding of the Cearense Family Therapy Association, serving as vice-president for the 2018-2020 biennium.
